We have invested heavily in our absence management capabilities to help employees get the most out of their leave benefits and guide employers through an often-complicated regulatory process. New digital platforms have made it easier for customers to digitally access and manage their leave, while creating a highly trained team of leave experts have helped employers navigate the complex maze of state and federal leave laws. Our robust set of leave solutions have been particularly valuable to customers striving to stay abreast of the changing landscape of leave regulations in light of the pandemic.
Improving
our International Reach
Building on the strength of our U.K. business and expertise in providing workplace benefits, we recently expanded our presence in Europe through the acquisition of a financial protection provider in Poland. With a similar distribution model of providing employee benefits through the workplace, the integration of Unum Poland into our international segment positions us well to grow as more businesses and workers recognize the essential value our benefits provide. Innovative solutions like our Benni platform for voluntary benefits and help@hand access to wellness services for group customers are further positioning Unum International as a leader in providing the coverages that employees want.
